Today we're talking about an acquisition that Tesla has reportedly made,

as well as the last quick check-in on Q3 deliveries.

Tesla stock performed well today, finishing up 1.59% to $244.69

that compared to the Nasdak down 1.13%.

CNBC is reporting today that Tesla is acquiring a computer vision company named DeepScale.

DeepScale is a relatively small private company from their website.

It looks like they've got about 30 people on their team.

No terms of the deal have been disclosed, but based on Tesla's acquisitions in the past, I would

imagine that it would include at least partially some equity from Tesla, rather than being

an all-cash deal, especially considering the fact that the co-founder and CEO has joined Tesla, I would assume many of the other team members will be as well.

This isn't just Tesla buying up technology, they're obviously looking to acquire some of the talent there too,

In terms of valuation, it should carry a pretty decent valuation.

They recently raised $15 million in a Series A, and life to date, they've raised 18 million dollars.

One source, Privco, put their valuation at 50 to 100 million dollars last April when they had
