All right, let's get to it.

Let's start with Wilson Contreras.

He's appealing a six-game suspension played Tuesday night as a result of that appeal.

All of this came from an incident in which he was ejected from a game on Monday.

He threw his bat in the direction of home plate umpire, Derek Thomas, hit his

hitting coach, Brent Brown inadvertently, left the field, chucked a bucket of hichu onto the

field. The bat boys had to clean that up, which, you know, is kind of just how that stuff always

goes. And Contreras, his side of the story, per Katie Wu of the athletic, was that he believed he was

ejected for saying something he didn't actually say. I did see it in the highlights from Tuesday.

He apologized to Derek before the game and, you know, tried to put it behind him. But what the

heck happened? Every clip I feel like I see of Wilson Contreras this year, and it's been a tough year for the cards. He just looks like he's an unhappy player right now overall with his either decision to be in St. Louis or with how things have gone this year, and it's a little bit surprising because he's actually had a pretty good year as a hitter with the move to first base, you know? Yeah, I don't know. And I saw some, I know, this is like sort of lip reading level analysis

where, you know, people were trying to pump up the audio and look at the lips and figure it out.
