And I have my colleague and dear friend John Aetack, who lives in Nottingham, England with me today.

We're talking about a lot of important and interesting topics, not just about

Scientology, but lots of things for all former members to think about, consider.

John and I go back to, I wouldn't think it was, 1989 or something, and became just like

fans of each other's courage and willingness to stand up against, you know, the authoritarian

regimes. And John, I've always admired you and respected your amazing intelligence.

In my opinion, you should have three PhDs.

For those who don't know, John, he's a novelist, he's a poet, he's a translator, he's written

incredible books, including, let Sell Them a Piece of Blue

Sky, which is the definitive book on Hubbard. Today we want to talk about the audio version of

this volume called Scientology, The Cult of Greed, which is very important for Scientology, and the more

general book, Opening Our Minds, Avoiding Abusive Relationships and Authoritarian Groups,

which is also an audiobook. Both are audiobooks. And John, you and I have a weekly check-in, and we've been

sharing perspectives that these days, while it's gratifying that there are so many former members

who are speaking up and speaking out and outing dangerous cults of all types,

a lot of people have not done their own homework

in terms of really processing the mind control

that was done on them, doing the healing work. And in particular,

you have helped so many people exit Scientology. I have worked with you on a number of cases.

Of course, I was in the Mooney's, so I've done a lot of other cults as well.

But we just talked about how important it is as elders of this activism effort for so many decades
