Yesterday, we talked extensively about Santa Monica.

And you may not live anywhere near Santa Monica.

You may not even visit it, but it is really a symbol of what's gone haywire in the entire state.

Because the politicians are so extremely progressive, they have an absurd homeless situation.

And I see it every day.

And they allowed, with the George Floyd riot, they allowed the rioters to destroy a lot of buildings.

And now that and other things has led the Third Street promenade to be just left almost for dead.

And Santa Monica Place, the big shopping mall there is 70% empty.

The revenues in town are way down.

And now they've run out of money.

They've got some kind of fiscal emergency.

And you read Los Angeles Times and it was, story was much of it was about, you know, one

one pedophile who somehow was able to abuse hundreds of people. He worked, he volunteered at the

Police Activities League, Eric Uller,

to its own separate bizarre scandal, mentioned in the story in the 23rd paragraph,

Phil Brock, it was not even a direct quote, but an allusion to homelessness being an issue in Santa Monica.

Took them 20 paragraphs before they mentioned Phil Brock's comment on the tax revenue being

down sharply, the retail and tourism revenues.
