Kyla was raised, Jehovah's Witness, shaped from childhood by the doctrines, rules, and spiritual pressure of the Watchtower organization.

But beneath the surface of what she was taught, she began to see the cracks, the false

prophecies, the manipulation, and the emptiness.

And in the middle of that confusion, Jesus met her.

Today, she shares her story of breaking free from the JW cult and discovering the

true gospel, true grace, and true freedom in Christ.

This is going to be an awesome podcast, you guys.

run into people that are in Jehovah's Witness.

You'll know some things to speak to them in truth and love.

Kyla, start with, you know, just share your growing up as a Jehovah's Witness.

What did that look like?

What was your spiritual life like during that time?

So growing up, obviously when you grow up in what you grow up, what you were raised in, the religion

you were raised in, it seemed normal. We went to, they call it meetings. We go to meetings,

which is what their church three times a week. And I was raised in that. Like we, we went three times

a week, my parents and my sisters, to two hours for two of the meetings, one hour for another one of the meetings.

And that's all I knew.

Everybody I knew in life were Jehovah's Witnesses.
