i've watched some of your content too, and it's really

awesome. Oh, cheers. What we like to do is just go slowly over the chronology of your life

and set the table for this a bit. Would it be okay if we could just go back first and talk about

what it was like for you when you were growing up?

Well, sure. I was raised in a small Midwestern town as a devout Catholic and, you know, wanted to be a priest from very young age.

I was probably what most of my contemporaries would think of as a very

disgustingly holy little boy, you know, the type. And anyhow, when I got to a college, minor seminary,

which is back then how they would do it, a priest professor. He had a doctoral degree

from the Vatican. He took me aside in a theology class, I believe it was when I was a sophomore

in college, and he told me that if I wanted to be Christ-like, and of, in Catholic theology, they teach that, you know,

Sasserdotus Altair Christus, the priest is another Christ.

And so he said, if you want to be Christ-like, you need to do what Jesus did.

And that sounded reasonable.

And he told me that Jesus studied the occult.

He told me that he went to India, I mean Jesus went to India and studied with the gurus and all that.

And he went to Tibet and the llamas and he went to Egypt and studied with the Magi and all this stuff.

And that's how he was able to do the miracles that we see him doing

in the gospels and i mean you know you've got to realize this was well this would be like

1969 so this is back in the day when the priest's word was like god talking to you i mean there
