Hello, everyone and welcome to the Evolve with Emily Show. I am your host, Emily Hayden.

And for this episode, I wanted to recap Summer Smash 2021.

If you've been sleeping on a rock and don't know what Summer Smash is,

it's First Form's yearly event that they do.

And we had to miss 2020 for obvious reasons.

So we really had to make up for that in 2021.

And I can confidently say that First Form blew it out of the water.

So good that all of us athletes, and I'm sure most of you guys that attended as well, lost our voices.

So if my voice sounds a little tired, maybe a little coarse, it's because this is the first day.

It's almost been a week.

This is the first day that I feel good enough to be able to record and not

annoy everybody with how horrible my voice was. So I want to recap Summer Smash for you all

because one, it was such an incredible experience that I really want to share just my thoughts

and my feelings post Summer Smash. But also I figured for people that didn't get the opportunity

to go,

or maybe they are considering a summer smash in the future,

maybe this would be a really good resource for them to kind of get the insiders look as to what to expect, what it's like, how it feels on the athlete end of things,

and kind of what I experienced and, you know, just kind of give you an insight to what to expect.

So before I go into the weekend, I want to mention that I've been with First Form for almost

eight years now coming up on the eighth year. So these people are like family to me. We've been

through so much together. We've been through all the life changes that you

can go through from falling in love to heartbreak to moving across the country to moving across
