Hello, everyone and welcome to the Evolved Emily Show. I'm your host, Emily Hayden, and you are listening to another Monday message. Every single Monday, I'm going to bring a new message to you guys. So here's today's message. I want to speak to the people that are looking around at their life and they don't like what they see. They don't have relationships that they're excited about. They are not in a work environment that they're excited about. Maybe they don't even like

where they live and they're looking around and they're getting discouraged. They are losing

hope and they are honestly just not enjoying life as it is. And they're even getting this message

inside of their head that says, I don't know how much longer I can live my life as it is right now. I first want to say, first and foremost, don't misinterpret that message.

That message is saying that your life as it is right now does not work for you and changes must

be made. So don't think that it means that there isn't a life out there that you could have that

would be a beautiful life for yourself. There are so many things that people have been through

that if they had stopped in the hard moment, they would have never gotten to the most beautiful

parts of their lives. So I really want to encourage those of you that are having that hard

moment, having those thoughts to not give up in the hard moment because a beautiful

season is coming for you. I know it is, but you have to look around at your life right now and

say, I agree, this doesn't work for me. So let's go and let's find out what is. I don't know if you

guys have ever done yard work, but I grew up doing yard work. when you would go there would be weeds and shrubs and things that you would have to cut down

and you'd have to pull the weeds by the root in order to really get them out so that they wouldn't grow back

and you'd have to shovel and it was a lot of hard work but at the end of the day you would look and you would see beautiful flower beds that are just absolutely beautiful with no weeds. You would see flowers, you would see

everything that is just nice and manicured properly. And that was such a much pretty picture,

much prettier picture than whenever you started, when you had to pull out the weeds and get

rid of the shrubs and rake the leaves and clean everything up and sweep the dirt off the sidewalk.

It's such a different picture and it just took a lot of work to get there.

The same thing happens in our lives.

Sometimes you need to cut down some trees.

Sometimes you need to cut the shrubs away.
