Summary

In today’s episode pastor Andrew F. Carter shares his journey to God and how he started his ministry. Andrew F. Carter Ministries is a nonprofit ministry that redistributes money to those in need, creates content to draw people back to their spiritual health, and hosts church and services every Sunday.

Andrew’s testimony is truly moving. Andrew started drinking, selling drugs, and bounced around at 12 years old, while his mom was in and out of jail. Growing up how Andrew did, God was not present in his family to the point that he didn’t know who God was until he was 17 years old. It wasn’t until he was pursuing a young lady who was Christian and learned through her brother the story of Jesus. 0:32.0	Welcome to the show. Thank you for having. Of course. Thank you so much. So I'll give them a little context. I first came across you on

0:43.0	You post different like messages and stories and prayers and things like that. And I just remember
0:48.2	feeling so refreshed when you would pop up on my feed because I'd be like, wow, this is something
0:52.5	on my feed that gives me life. Like this is something on my feed that gives me life.
0:54.2	Like this is something in my feed that, you know, it refreshes me. It gives me something that I
0:58.9	need to hear versus, you know, I've really just had such a problem with social media recently
1:03.9	where I feel like everything is glorified. Like all these things are glorified that don't bring true
1:08.7	lasting fulfillment or happiness or anything like that.
1:11.9	You know, like it's people telling you wearing a vacation, what kind of car in the house and the money and be a successful entrepreneur overnight, you know?
1:18.6	And it's like all these people are chasing after these things that they don't realize when they get there that it's hollow.
1:23.9	And so what I like about you and your Instagram and what you're doing there is you're sharing something that gives people life like they've never known it.
1:32.5	So tell us a little bit about Andrew F. Carter ministry. Tell us about your ministry, about your service work here and just kind of like what you are excited about for right now.
1:41.4	Yeah. So right now we are a nonprofit organization. So Andrew
1:44.4	of Carter Ministries, nonprofit. We focus on working with different organizations in the community.
1:49.6	So we raise money. We accept charity donations, tiths, all of that kind of stuff. And we make sure that
1:56.6	we redistribute that money to those in need. So primarily we're working with the homeless.
