Summary

Elliot Roger grew up with privilege going with his director dad to red carpet movie premieres and meeting the rich and famous. But Roger never had a girlfriend. He thought if only he could win the lottery he would be rich enough to lure a woman to love him. When that didn't happen, he bought 2 guns and began planning revenge on the girls who shunned him. Roger killed 6 people and wounded 14 others before taking his own life in the community surroundingthe University of California at Santa Barbara. Nancy Grace explores the case with prosecutor Wendy Patrick, defense lawyer Troy Slaten, private investigator Vincent Hill, forensic psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman, and Crime Stories co-host Alan Duke.
