your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, first of all, I just got to say,

it is so good to be back live with you. I don't know if you've noticed. I've been gone for a little bit.

I pre-recorded a whole bunch of shows. I want to thank Van Bennett for stepping in to guest hosts and Ben Holson for guest hosting. I took some time off. I needed to

rest. I needed to write and finish a book and to celebrate my anniversary. And I needed it so desperately,

but I was praying every day for you. And so it's so great to be back in the saddle with you again today.

And what a day to kick off today's live show. We're talking about the resurrection of Jesus' Holy Week.

What an important time for us in the lives of those of us who claim Jesus, who follow him.

I want you to think about this.

Jesus went to the cross for us.

He took our sin.

He took our shame.

He died a criminal's death, even though he was sinless. In fact, he was content to be

misunderstood by those who would reject him because we were the joy set before him. He died,

and then he rose again. So why have some believers decided to eliminate the resurrection from

their gospel message? It's one thing to have unbelievers

just reject Christ altogether. Scripture said, we're going to see that. It's been in every generation,

but we're going to see it more and more as we near the end of day. But isn't it interesting

that some professing believers are removing the resurrection from the gospel message, which
