Thank you. If you would tell me a little bit about your background. I want to talk about your current interests and questions and research.

Thank you. Yeah, I mean I guess I grew up in a sort of semi-Christian home.

I went to university as a Christian pretty much assuming a creationist sort of position.

I was studying physical science in England and I didn't was particularly interested in the whole origins issue

but I sort of thought well I had a duty I was studying science people would ask me about this

I had a sort of a duty to find out something about it either for that reason even if I wasn't that interested.

And I think what I discovered was there were scientific difficulties that I hadn't really come across before and I remember sort of thinking where's the book that's got the answers to these problems and then eventually

realizing this book didn't exist and it was going to be to me or others to start finding Saladas. But I think the thing that perhaps surprised me more was just the range of other views you find with with other Christians and now simply sort of saying well it's you know we'll just read Genesis one or

something doesn't really cut it in terms of persuading them why they should
