Fan Guide. These will be occasional one-off episodes where we wade into the waters of more

high fantasy books and, with no spoilers, introduce you to the world, the main characters,

and the magic system. You get it? Because like instead of diving deep or wading through the waters.

Oh, that's good. I thought that was so funny. Anyway, think of these fan guide episodes as like

your cheat sheet to better understand these more dense stories, especially as you head into

reading it for the first time. Today's very first fan guide is for Brandon Sanderson's Missborn.

So if you're curious to get started with Miss

Born, this episode is for you. Or if you've read Miss Born and want a refresher, you're in the

right place. Before we begin, let's cover our bases with what we mean by no spoilers, because yes,

we do need to define what no spoilers mean. There are going to be no plot.

Spoilers for the first book in the Miss Born trilogy in this episode. Meaning, while we will be
