Misdirection, as in Major League Baseball Players Association, met yesterday with Major League

Baseball, representatives of the commissioner and the owners, and presented their version

of what the next collective bargaining agreement should look like.

They then decided that the best course of action would be a public relations campaign that included a press release and then

various talking points in the media.

I want to look closely at what they proposed because they released what they proposed,

but then described it entirely differently from what they proposed.

And I want to be careful because starting today, May 28th, we're only May 28th.

The season is just beginning to get to summer.

We're not even in the dog days of summer.

We haven't gotten through the playoffs in the World Series.

But today you're going to see Major League Baseball give its version of a new CBA and an economic

proposal.

So back-to-back days, we're going to be given information and asked to digest it.
