rolling I wanted to talk about something that's been concerning me around this

vaccine rollout. As many of you know both the Moderna and Pfizer COVID vaccines have been rode out primarily for

frontline health care workers and seniors in senior facilities. But you may not

know that while the vaccine has been produced and shipped across the country it's may not

actually getting into arms.

As of this recording, for example, 13 million doses have been distributed nationally,

but only 4.2 million, roughly 32% of first doses have been administered.

So, almost 70% of the vaccines that your tax dollars have bought are sitting in freezers in some parts of the country

but in short supply and others. In places like Chicago, Illinois, over 95% of the vaccine

has been distributed and administered.

But in Texas, parts of the state are at risk of doses going to waste.

In Florida, county health departments are reporting

that their phone lines are crashing from the volume of

callers seeking shots. But in Riverside County, California, almost half of health care workers

don't even want the vaccine. So plainly speaking, this is a mess.
