to like fish that managed to walk on land, to monkeys, to the humans that we are today,

we would improve on things. The things we have, we constantly would try and make better and better

and better. Yet for some reason, maybe it's just me, maybe I'm just cuckoo monkey nuts. Crazy. But it sort

of feels like everything that we have to pay money for has gotten worse and worse and worse and worse.

Can you think in your mind the last time you paid for something with a dollar, with a yen,

with a with a durham and thought, this is, I'm getting my bang for my buck. Can you think?

I learned a new word today called inshittification.

It essentially describes the downward spiral that being a consumer has taken us on recently actually not even recently

kind of throughout history for example let me give you some examples to kind of

jog your memory make you realize how we're kind of getting scammed all the time

first of all streaming streaming platforms. I remember,

I'm unc enough to remember when like Netflix had first come out in Canada. I think it was like

2014, 2015 or something. And this is the Netflix where it was a streaming platform because little

known fact, Netflix used to be like a mail order thing so you could like they sent you a catalog of like new movies and you say I want this one I want this one I want this one I want surf stop too and then they would send you DVDs in the mail and you would play them and then like once you were done you would send them them back. Like that's actually what Netflix used to be a fun fact.

But I remember, I remember when, like, cable TV, well, I'm making an educated guess here because I never paid my cable TV at TV bill at age 12.

I was digging in my butt.

Like, cable TV, $80, let's say.

Now, remember, Netflix came along, and it was like $7.

And it had, like, everything.
