our of course esteemed producer who answered my text over the weekend because Alex

Bregman has reached a contract agreement with the Chicago Cubs. It's not official yet.

But Taylor, you and I are on the same page. We got to get Jesse Rogers on the phone.

We got to get Carl Ravich on the phone. Our Boston voice and our Chicago voice. I mean, two guys who grew up in it and know what it all means. So what better of a combination to have on the podcast to break it all down? Yeah, what a big deal this is. for the Cubs who tried to sign Bregman last year and for the Red Sox.

We're just getting, and for the Red Sox,

who were just getting hammered for the fact that they weren't able to bring Bregman back,

and other people in that organization really frustrated that this didn't work out for them.

But as you'll hear in my conversation with Jesse and Carl, it was a significant difference

in the offers between

these two sides. Over the weekend, we also found out that the Yankees and Cody Bellinger at the

moment are at an impasse in their negotiations. The Yankees have offered five years, $155 million.

Cody Bellinger's camp looking for more money. We'll break that all down. We'll talk about what's

next for the Red Sox. We'll talk about what could happen with Nico Horner, the Cubb Second

Baseman, as a result of these deals. And another big deal that we're going to talk about,

big situation, Terrick Scoobull, two-time Tsay Young Award winner, has asked for $32 million

in arbitration, and they're going to a hearing

that Detroit Tigers offered him $19 million. And so the potential impact of this situation for the

union for Major League Baseball enormous, because obviously Terry Schuble would set a new
