The July Solo Show recorded on the very last day of July.

And I was a bit concerned about that because I did promise one a month and the June one came in at the

beginning of July and I didn't want, I was kind of concerned that I'd have a concertina

crash buildup of solar shows from the end of the year if I didn't get this out.

And also, as regular listeners will know, I was unwell last week or the week before

when I had to, when I was planning to do a solo show in

Melbourne about place and so on but got sick lost my voice and it made me realize that and this is all as it's happening I'm like of course I'm in Melbourne for

A bunch of reasons, but one of them was a venue scout for a super secret

project that I will tell you about in the coming weeks but also to do some research for other projects and things that I've got

ongoing and typically when I get to Melbourne the first thing I do is go to my

favorite I guess Melbourne bookstore which is readings because they have a lot of academic stuff as well like it's a good well selected range and there was closed for refurbishment and so they had a pop-up store across the road which I went to and it was fine and I got some of the stuff but it

the range was reduced obviously because it's a pop-up store and this entire experience is very Mars

retrograde as you can tell from the title of everything retrograde I kind of wanted to

pivot given that the show was delayed to talking about my experience of that and the experience of talking

to about a dozen of you going through the same sort of process because I don't think we're

aware of quite how many plates we have spinning until someone, you know, switches the BDE power off at the wall, which is a nice retrograde right? So it got me thinking about how I want to

tackle that and I guess I still haven't landed on an opinion on whether astrology has more of an impact in the lives of people who follow or I guess perform astrology

than those who don't and I think maybe it does
