It doesn't mean like to give in like surrender, acquiesce to somebody's demands.

Yes, but it's very helpful often to look up the etymology, okay, the root and word history for a given

definition. It comes from to yield or agree to be at rest. Now, the art of acquiescence as understood by Marcus Aurelius and taught by the great Stoics, okay?

Whether it's Seneca or Epictetus, I mean many great minds came to the same conclusion
