Brian Root is a professional illustrator working in the entertainment, comic, and commercial art fields.

He is most known for his photorealistic paintings of Hollywood's stars and characters.

He has created artwork for nearly every major licensor of Star Wars merchandising.

His art can be found on literally everything from bedspreads to fine art reproductions to

stickers to coffee mugs. You can see his work at Star Wars

celebrations each year and the Lucas Film Pavilion the past two years at

San Diego Comic-Con. He has also provided exclusive prints for several celebrations going all the way back to

celebration 4.
