former editor assistant editor and writer for the Marvel Star Wars comic book

line where she helped craft just about every title from 2015 to 2018. She played a vital role in the relaunch of the Marvel

Star Wars license after the Disney purchase including helping to develop the

immensely popular Chelylona Afra alongside Kiran Gillen.

Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Canaan, Lando, Mace Windu, Poe, Dammer and Darth

Mall, O. B. 1, Anakin, her list of credentials goes on and on and on.

And that's just Star Wars. She also worked on

Deadpool, the Amazing Spider-Man and Gwenpool, a character series she helped create. A huge

fan of conventions, she attends many throughout the year giving her a chance to connect with fans and peers.

These days, she's the editor over at Valiant Entertainment and Image Comics, a position she's held since last spring.

Since she grew up in Michigan, we here at the show consider Heather an

honorary Canadian. We'll talk about all this and more including her love of
