Good day, humans. Welcome to the safe space for dangerous ideas. Evan is with us. Evan Pavanka,

0:08.3

community manager. He's here to ask me questions, to throw around some ideas about what's going on in the world,

0:13.4

to basically be the conduit. For you, the people, hello. Hi, thanks for having me. You couldn't.

0:20.2

You couldn't put on a tie today.

0:21.6

Yeah, not today. Last time you were here, you were wearing a bad jacket, cheats. You looked like you were going to, you look like a 13-year-old at a bum. It's for last time. Now you've just got a baseball cap on backwards, like you're trying to be beavers and butt heads. Is that a thing? Is that not cool in your part of the world to wear a backwards head? Is that? It's not cool in any part of the world, Evan. It has not been cool in any part of the world since 1992. Is it just time for me to grow up Peter Pan? And stuff. It's time. Yeah, you should grow up Peter Pan. We got questions coming in along the transom. I'm not sure what a transom is, but they're coming in there anyway. We got questions about some of the episodes from, some recent episodes, about things that are going on in the world. And I also have a few things that are going on in the world that are a little more upbeat that I wanted to share with people. So I just wanted to set the stage for that, Evan. Shall I give you one thing that's not upbeat first, and then we can just get it out of the way? Yeah, what if this is like... It's amusing, though. It's entertaining. This is like family feud. Like, I have one, too, that I really want to talk about. So what if we pick the same one? Oh, is there? Wouldn't that be amazing? Okay. You do you first. Okay. You do you. I read a fascinating article yesterday about OZempic zombies.

1:32.3

Do you, does that mean anything to you?

1:34.5

Oh, no.

1:35.3

Okay.

1:36.0

So the article, you know Ozempic, obviously.

1:39.6

We are familiar with it?

1:41.6

So basically, they're starting to see that people who are on it, I don't understand exactly

1:48.7

what it does, but it blocks the receptors that give you the desire to eat food, right?

1:54.0

I think is correct.

1:56.1

But over time, people are losing their desire to basically do anything.

2:01.6

People have quit drinking, quit gambling, quit every bad thing that they don't want to do,

2:07.6

but they're also like not interested in their kids anymore.

2:11.6

They're like turning into just like shutting everything down kind of a thing.

2:17.6

And I...

2:18.3

Well, it does stop you from being addicted to things, right?

2:21.1

So it's like, yeah, if it stops you from smoking and like drinking and gambling, then maybe if you like are also getting a buzz from playing with your kids.

2:31.3

Yeah.

2:32.3

It does that.
