My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence.

I ask your pardon for my sins, and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful.

My immaculate mother St. Joseph, my father, and Lord,

my guardian angel, and to seed for him.

Jesus, we ask you to help us convert

towards making the greatest treasure of the universe the center of our life.

And we will pray about our Lord's true presence.

We have his true presence in the tabernacle. That's called the Eucharist

as a sacrament. The traditional theological term for the tabernacle that contains Christ is the

Eucharist as sacrament. There's another true presence,

and it's the presence of Jesus redeeming,

the true presence of the cross,

the true presence of the redemptive sacrifice.

So the Eucharist is all about true presence.

So I could contemplate in the fullest sense of the word,

Jesus resurrected presence in the tabernacle,

then during exposition and benediction in a more

poignant way as he's exposed in the monstrance.

And when I go to Mass, or when I celebrate Mass, I am witnessing at close range that event called the crucifixion and death of our Lord on Calvary.
