book. I don't know. I'm just making that up. But you know where he is today. He's testing

Will. No, we have a special guest here today. It's Kelly Sonic of the Andrea Brown

Literary Illustrate, or literary agency. She is an agent working out of San Diego. And this was a

fascinating conversation that we had.

This is our first agent on the show.

And we learned a ton from this interview.

Any big takeaways you had from this, Lee?

The number one takeaway to sum up, kind of what we talked about.

She's the agent that you want. She's not she, she, she answers

everything in a way that she's like the perfect match for an illustrator. She's an advocate for

the illustrator. She understands the industry and the nuances that illustrators are going

through right now. And so, you know, she's one of the good ones, in my opinion.

And we talked about, you know, what you want in an agent and all this got.

I mean, we definitely pressed her on issues that illustrators have.

I mean, this was not softball pitches that we were given her.

And she just answered him in such a solid, knowledgeable way.

I just wish my, some of my agents were like, I wish she was my agent.

She's amazing. And, and I think she's kind of what you're looking for in an agent.

Yeah. She goes into how to, you know, the question we always get is how do you get an agent?
