Hello and welcome to the J Train Podcast. This is J Train Jared Freed.

Coming to you live from Times Square New York City. That's right. We have changed locations.

It's a new day in J Train Podcast history. We have left Stand Up New York labs. We wish them well.

We wish them the best Stand Up New York was very good to me personally. They took a chance in a young

rascal with a dream. We were doing the podcast there. How many years shall we? Five?

Yeah, about five. Five years of podcasting. That's a lot of me talking bullshit.

So I mean I can go through the brief history. You know it maybe or if you're a new listener,

I used to write a total frat move. I asked them to do a podcast. They were kind of like what's a

podcast. I said perfect. They had followers. They had an audience that I liked. So I went back

to New York and I heard that Stand Up New York was opening a studio and then I said, hey I got

someone that will promote it. I'll host it. You produce it. Boom. We have a marriage. Then

you know as time went on, total frat move wanted to start a new podcast and the show was more me

than it was total frat move. So it became the J Train Podcast. A lot of you referenced that today.

You say I'm here from the old TFM days and I always appreciate you guys listening still.

But the show is more me and I'm happy that we have a whole new listeners ship that's evolved.

We've gone from dudes writing in about shitting their pants to women writing in about

shitting their pants. We've really come a long way. But we have now you know last episode I talked

about you know when the pants don't fit that's when you make a move. That's when you make a change

discomfort and it's not to say that I felt that we could grow on our own. We brought Shelby
