As many as 300,000 federal workers got doged this year in various ways.

Trump also fired, among others, the inspector generals of the EPA, the Department of

Education, the Defense Department, the commissioner of the BLS, the chair of the FEC, the commissioner

of the EEOC, and so much more, all of those were probably legal firings.

But can Trump fire Rebecca Slaughter, a commissioner

at the Federal Trade Commission? This is the agency that oversees consumer protections and fights

monopolies. Trump says yes, Slaughter says no. She took him to Supreme Court. Supreme Court is going to

rule. And when they do, it'll have big, big implications for the
