The Michael Vary Show is on the air. Well, the Michigan primary has come and gone.

Who will win in November the 16 electoral votes in one of the most important swing states.

Well, let's see what we learned from last night.

Joe Biden won the Democrat primary in the state of Michigan, but his challenger uncommitted, came in much stronger at second place than anyone imagined.

They think it's because Muslims in the state and there are a lot of them, particularly in the Dearborn area,

showed up and voted uncommitted in protest of Biden's foreign policy.

In Dearborn, Biden lost to uncommitted by 50 points.

CNN's John King reacts to this news.

This is what Joe Biden received, again forgive me, 1,141 votes.

Dean Phillips, 54 votes, and uncommitted, make sure I get this right, 3,70403 votes.

So that's a wow, if you look at it this way, this is 23% and this is 75%.

And so this is just the city of Dearborn, but that is where the biggest pocket of the Muslim American, the Arab American population.

This is a place President Biden carried big time in 2020.

This is key to his chances of defeating Donald Trump in Michigan.

Louisiana Republican Senator John Kennedy, who I normally like but he voted for the Ukraine

package last month and I'm very disappointed in him but he's usually good with a with a quip.

I was told that he sits around dreaming up these quips that that's what he does all day.

When he's on a flight he sits and writes a little clever line, but they're usually pretty good. I gave him credit for that.
