Be anthropological and empathetic to be able to observe and listen to people operating

in their natural habitats and use that technique, which I call bottom-up research, to find

and validate an unmet need, a problem that you may not have even known in detail start

there.

In fact, invest disproportionately at that stage.

If you do that first stage, the C stage well, the solve and the scale stage will operate

naturally.

And if you don't do that well, it's like building a house on a faulty foundation.

No matter how well you try to build a house, it's not going to hold up very well.
