So there's a couple things going on here. There's a story in the Atlantic about his drinking where he's been drinking on the job every single day. They've struggled to find him. He hasn't showed up to work. There's an implication in the Atlantic article that's some of the biggest moments that we've seen cash embarrass the FBI and the Trump administration. He's been intoxicated like when he claimed that they had caught Charlie Kirk Kirk shooter and they had it and they had to

retract that like he was drunk on the job basically and now he denies all of that he's suing the

Atlantic for 250 million dollars it's a classic Trump move to get the headline but I absolutely

guarantee you that he will drop it before they go to discovery because the last thing that guy wants

is discovery about what he's doing at the FBI he will either perjure himself or be very embarrassed by whatever evidence they collect for that lawsuit. It's also going to fail. It doesn't matter all. And then now on top of that, he's trying to feed red meat to the base because Trump is pissed off at Bondi and Todd Blanche and everybody else because they have not gone after Trump's political

enemies the way that they wanted to. And so there's two things going on. One, they're going after

Act Blue more aggressively. Ken Paxton's got this lawsuit trying to dismantle Act Blue, turn off Democrats'

ability to raise money from grassroots donors. And then now they're going after the Southern

Poverty Law Center. And the basic argument here is that they've been paying informants inside neo-Nazi organizations.

And it's been off the books.

They didn't report it to their donors so that they wouldn't endanger the people who have

been reporting back on the activities of Nazis and the KKK and everybody else.

And so the Republicans are arguing that Charlottesville and January 6th and these other things that have happened that have been run by hate groups are actually being funded by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is really, really stupid.

And nobody believes it.

But as you well know, it's very easy to get a grand jury to indict anything because you're only giving one side of the argument.

So this is going to get tossed

out. They're going to embarrass themselves. But they're all over X right now being like,

Charlottesville was a hoax. January 6th was a hoax after spending years arguing that nothing bad

happened at either of them, which is ridiculous. So these guys are pathetic, in my opinion,

on every level.
