The last five Psalms, Psalm 146 through Psalm 150, each begin the exact same way.

Praise ye the Lord.

As we enter the season of Thanksgiving and praise, Scott is walking us through this crescendo of praise, a study he is calling

the Hallelujah Chorus. In our busy lives, we must make time to praise the Lord not only for what

he's given us, but praise the Lord for who he is. And when our heart is filled with praise, we are ready for worship.

Let's join Scott now for today's study.

If all of us have been blessed of God, then all of us should bless God.

All of us have enjoyed the goodness of the Lord and the response of that

should be that all of us learn to give him praise and glory. We return today to Psalm 148, this

amazing Hallelujah Psalm, to see the application of it in our own homes. And might I just say,

you have to apply it to your heart before you can apply it to

your home. You can't teach others to praise God until you model it in your own life. So you be a

praising Christian today. You be a thankful follower of Jesus. You be a grateful husband and a

glad-hearted wife. And then you can pass that on to the next generation.

Now, the first six verses, we've seen the heights of praise.

He takes us all the way to heaven.

In verses 7 through 10, we've seen the depths of praise,

all the way back to the earth and to the deep things of earth,

all of creation, exalting the Lord.

Don't let the rocks cry out.

You praise God and allow the creation to remind you of the goodness and greatness of your God.

Now we come to verse 11 and verse 12 to the breadth of praise.
