Greetings Clark's World Citizens. I hope this podcast finds you extraordinarily well.

We have a massive story for you today. It's probably the longest story we have done.

This one is coming in at 20,000 words. So I hope you sit back and relax and have nothing to do for the next few hours.

Our story is titled Everybody Loves Charles and is by Bao Shu, translated by Ken Liu.

After graduating from Peking University, Bao Shu obtained a master's degree in philosophy.

Working as a freelance writer in China, he has published four novels and over 30 novellas, novelettes, and short stories since 2010.

His best known works include Three Body X, Aeon of Contemplation,

an authorized sequel to Liu Shishin's Three Body Trilogy.

Ruins of Time, winner of the 2014 Chinese Nebula Award for Best Novel, and What

Has Past, shall in kinder light appear.

His novelette, Everybody Loved Charles, won three important awards this year, the 2015's S.F. Galaxy Award for Best Novelette,

the 2015 Chinese S.F. Nebula Silver Award for Best Novelette, and the Chinese S.F.
