However is that there are far more than what have been mentioned in the Quran and in the Sunnah

And this is something that is explicit in the Quran in Surat Al Nisa verse 164

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala mentions in the Quran that

Wa Rasulana Qadah Qasasnahum alaykum in Qablu wa Rasulana

Lemna Qususum alaykum and there are prophets or messengers that we have told you their stories before and there are others that we have not told you

So lemna Qususum. So the Quran never claims to be a

History book of all of the messengers and prophets. It is not a registry of all the prophets and messengers and

In Surah Ghaafir verse 78

Wa Lakhadah Rasulana Qasasnahum alaykum and there are prophets that are beyond the scope of the knowledge that Allah has revealed to us and therefore when it comes to those prophets and their stories

We are not going to be going over them in this series because we don't know for sure who wasn't wasn't a prophet and of course the old testament

Is full of names and events and details about so many prophets that are not mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah and we're going to skip over

Those details because it is not a part of our theology to believe in things that are outside of our sources and we neither rejected either

We're going to come to this issue of to what level we should look at these sources and our prophets Allah
