So Tyler Cam Ward, is he worthy of that first overall picked over?

Do you feel like he's just maybe the best QB in a week draft class?

Well, I think both of those things are true. He is the best QB in a week draft class, but I also do

think he is worthy of the number one pick. Now, is Cam Ward the certified number one

overall pick like Andrew Luck or

Joe Burrow or Trevor Lawrence were when they came out? No, but have any of those quarterbacks

won a Super Bowl? No, it's the quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes, who was not drafted and wasn't

the certified number one overall pick. So I think it's actually historically a better thing that Cam Ward

isn't such a solid number one overall pick. But look, you watch the tape on Cam Ward. He has

everything you want. He has a talented arm. He has the ability to throw from a bunch of different

angles with his arm. And he has a generational knack for playmaking and creating out of structure,

which is what all the top

quarterbacks in the NFL do nowadays. So you take the on-field talent, you compare it or

combine it with the off-field intangibles that Cam Ward brings to the table as a leader who's

been to multiple schools and always endeared himself to his teammates in the program.

He's a great person. He's a great player. And that makes him absolutely worthy of the number one overall pick. And I love your optimism there,
