As we spend the week focusing on drawing near to God this Christmas season, today we'll explore a fun concept.

Every morning is like Christmas morning when you know and walk with God.

God is so, so good,

and he desires for us to walk in the gifts of His goodness

all the days of our lives.

May we reorient our thinking

so that each morning with God

is more exciting than the next

as we experience afresh

his love and kindness. Welcome to the first 15 podcast. You know, Our scripture for today comes from Lamentations chapter 3, verses 22 and 23.

Scripture says,

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.

His mercies never come to an end.

They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.

As a child, Christmas morning was always the highlight of my year.

I could hardly sleep the night before before as I waited for the chance to

open up the gifts my wonderful parents had purchased for me. It still makes me smile to remember

the unbridled joy I felt at the sound of my alarm in the morning, feeling the expectation of what

was to come.

James 117 tells us that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,

coming down from the Father of Lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

In Lamentations chapter 3, verses 22 and 23 says,
