All right, welcome back to friends from work. Today, we're going to be doing our very first

official MCU rankings podcast. That's right. We're going to be going through all of the

Infinity saga today and placing these films into one of five tiers. We're going to go with

tier one, two, three, and four, and at the very top, what we're calling an S tier, or special.

Why do we have a special tier? Because as you and I were starting to discuss some of this stuff,

and we've been ranking things using the four tiers for a long time, it starts getting really,

really complicated with a few, emphasis on a few, select films that really are hard to rank against others given the time they

came out the cultural moment they released in and kind of the impact they had if you're going back

through all of the MCU and you've done the work you've watched all the films these films have

special payoff but they're really hard to rank a standalone film.

So that's kind of our cop-out, S-tier.

Yeah.

I think the only film that's going to be in there is Thor the Dark World.

So we need a separate tier.

But a couple of times.

But three or four times.

Like whenever you want to watch it, throw it back in the S-tier.

Yeah.

That's how it works.

So today we're going to be using our Friends from Work rewatch order.

We have specifically curated this rewatch order for people who have heard about the Marvel

Cinematic Universe, maybe have seen some of the films, but they want to go back and catch up.
