Jones to talk to us about his campaign to be in the U.S. Congress representing New York

17th.

The message for this week is that every little bit counts.

One of the things that I learned as a teacher is that every day we were building skills

that in the end were turned into something that allowed my students to do something they

didn't think they could do before.

So when I was teaching them that when two things touched it means multiplication or when

we were learning what a reciprocal was and when we were learning what an integer was,

he's building blocks early in the year.

It was to set them up so that later they would see it, maybe they got it, got it, they

could do the process, they understood the number theory behind it, they got it, but it

took all these pieces to get us there.

And I think so often that what you don't ever see is the piecework.

You don't see people's craft growing the pieces.

Mostly you see the beautiful artwork at the end, but I'm always reminded that every little

bit counts.

So keep going with every little bit.

It always counts.
