Joining us first is Ben Higgins, formerly of the TV show The Bachelor, who

after his stint with the hugely popular franchise suddenly was given a large

platform to reach people and how he came to use that influence for good.

Starting his benevolent organization, Generous Coffee, Ben's efforts are

actively supporting nonprofits and Honduras who exist to change lives there

for the better. Ben shares how an early trauma in his family caused him to

re-evaluate how he viewed other people's pain and how it opened him up to be

more compassionate and empathetic. He addresses the shift in his life in his book

Alone in Plainsite and shares how he's seeking to connect with others not only

in their moments of success, but also in their moments of pain.
