Almost half of all public school students in Nepal

drop out of school before finishing grade 10.

Often because students who fall behind in the early grades never get the support they need to catch back up.

We think that's a terrible waste of all the talent and all the potential we know these kids have within themselves.

And so what we do is hire and train local youth to lead

intensive after-school courses. Courses are aimed at helping struggling

students gain the basic net body and math skills that they'll need to succeed

in school and in life.
