And this is Marianne Sullivan.

And on this week's show, Marianne, we'll be speaking with Tamara Human, who spoke to her from her home in Kieviv, Ukraine about the work that she and the organization

she founded, every animal, are doing to support people and animals while the war continues to

rage. Wow. Marianne, that's such an intense interview. I can't even imagine. Yeah, no, it was great. They're really amazing and

and really like just straightforward about how freakish it all was and how suddenly they were

thrust into this like unbelievable situation and everybody I kind of didn't know what to do. I mean,

they've been doing this animal rights work and mostly vegan advocacy for a while now,

and they really had to, like, rethink what they were doing.

And it's a really moving interview.

And we actually recorded it very recently, and usually it takes us a while to get an interview up.

But we thought we should get it up right away,

given that the situation is just unfolding at a rapid place. You may have sensed that there's

some background noise here. We apologize, but we happen to be on the train at the moment.

Train is, of course, one of both of our favorite places. Just to give you a visual, we're in a little room.

We got a roomette, and we are sipping our chardonnay.
