Today we revisit our past conversation with Dr. Vanessa Andreotti.

That yearning stems from the understanding that that's something that's wrong.

If you can use the word disease or greed or destruction that is happening around us,

like this affects our bodies.

Part of our bodies know that knowing may be numbed or deactivated, but it's there.

And from that knowing, a yearning for a different form of existence emerges.

Vanessa is a Brazilian educator, an indigenous and land rights advocate.

She is one of the founders of the gesturing toward decolonial futures, arts and research collective, and

part of the coordination team of the Last Warning campaign.

Her latest book, which we will explore today, is hospicing modernity, facing humanity's

wrongs and implications for social activism.

We begin here as Vanessa offers a glimpse into who and how she is showing up here
