Are you ready? This is called Evergreen. You are a tree.

your bows are always green. Your branches reach out for sunlight.

You are rooted in the earth. You take what you need from the earth. Your roots reach deep beneath the surface. You are always growing. you're going to be here. You are loved. Love helps you grow.

every tree knows how to turn towards the love and light you need. You know how to do that, little evergreen.

Sometimes you grow fast. You drink love in sunlight and there is plenty.

You push upwards into the light,

you reach out into the world. It is warm. It is safe. You are warm. You are safe. You are doing exactly what you are safe.

You are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing.

You know how to grow when conditions are perfect evergreen.

And you are perfect.

You are perfect evergreen. You're going to be here. Sometimes you grow slow.

Sometimes it is cold and sometimes it is hard to be an evergreen tree.

Sometimes it is windy and harsh and the sun seems so far away and the sunlight seems thin.

Sometimes your branches don't grow at all.

But you are still growing evergreen.

You still grow underground where your roots spread

into the earth.

No one can see you change, but you are always growing.
