This is our second to last story for the month of January 2016.

It's a rather long one so I'm just going to jump right into it.

Helvetican Renaissance, and is by John Kessel.

The story is in issue 124 for January 2017. John Kessel is the author of the forthcoming novel

The Moon and The Other. His fiction has twice received the Nebula Award,

in addition to the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award,

the Locust Award, and the James Tiptree Junior Award.

John has also taught American literature and fiction writing at North Carolina State University since 1982

and helped found the NCSU MFA program in creative writing and served twice as its director.

He lives with his wife, the novelist

Terence Ann Fowler and Raleigh.
