this week. It's Monday, July 7th, and this is Evening Wire. Devastation continues in central Texas after flash floods killed at least 89 people over the

holiday weekend. Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has the latest.

The hardest hit area, Kerr County, accounts for 75 deaths with 27 of them being children.

Among the tragedies, Camp Mystic lost 27 girls

and counselors. Heavy rains are expected to continue through the night tonight with up to 10 inches

forecasted in some regions. Rescue efforts are ongoing, but hampered by the weather. Texas

Governor Greg Abbott urged caution, while grieving families and volunteers continue searching

for missing loved ones

amid the wreckage.
