Following President Trump's mobilization of more National Guard troops to L.A., Governor Gavin Newsom is seeking to block the troops.

Newsom filed an emergency motion to stop the deployment. The total military personnel in the city is nearing 4,700 with several hundred Marines on standby

near L.A. This comes after days of out-of-control protests in which demonstrators have set cars on fire,

looted stores, and assaulted law enforcement. Democrats, both in and out of California, insists that

the protests are largely peaceful,

but Trump says the city would have burned to the ground without intervention.

And it looks like a planned disaster,

The feds have ID'd a man they say was allegedly seen throwing rocks at law enforcement during Saturday's riots. The FBI says 40-year-old Elpidio Raina of Compton faces up to

eight years in prison and remains at large. One officer was injured and various government vehicles

damaged after rocks were hurled at them. A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to

Rana's arrest.

Attorney General Pam Bondi says Rana will be added to the FBI's most wanted list.

As the country watches the events unfolding in Los Angeles, some in Congress are calling for an investigation.
