It's Tuesday, October 14th. This is

Evening Wire. Hamas carried out mass executions in the streets of Gaza on Monday, hours after

inking a peace treaty with Israel, as part of a series of bloody reprisals following the withdrawal of

Israeli troops. Graphic footage shows eight badly beaten, blindfolded men kneeling in the streets

before each is shot dead by Hamas gunmen in front of a cheering crowd.

According to the BBC, Hamas claimed the killings targeted, quote,

criminals and collaborators with Israel.

Among those killed was Ahmad Zedan al-Tarabin accused of recruiting agents to a rival

non-Hamas-aligned militia. Following the IDF's withdrawal, Hamas has quickly looked to reassert

its control over Gaza, targeting the clans or family-based armed groups that had gained

strength during the conflict. As the government shut down nears two weeks, House Speaker Mike Johnson is accusing Democrats of playing politics.

Johnson says his Democratic colleagues are purposely waiting until after this week's No King's protest to strike a deal.

Internal documents obtained by the Daily Wire show the no kings organizers are planning

thousands of rallies nationwide, including a major one outside the Capitol, tying their message

directly to the shutdown. The materials urge host to feature laid off federal workers and

Medicaid recipients as speakers and include full media kits, chance, and even jail support plans

in case of arrests.
