I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire Executive Editor John Bickley. It's Wednesday, April 8th,

and this is Evening Wire. The Pentagon provided updates on the ceasefire deal in an early morning

press conference today. When asked about the continued Iranian strikes after the agreement was announced,

War Secretary Pete Hexeth cited the damage to Iranian communications,

but he also pressed the regime to comply with the ceasefire.

Iran would be wise to find a way to get the carrier pigeon to their troops out in remote locations to know not to shoot,

not to shoot any longer. It takes time sometimes for ceasefires to take hold. We're watching it.
