One of the nation's largest synagogues, which also functions as a preschool, came under attack today.

Daily Wire reporters Actual has the latest.

An attacker rammed a vehicle into Temple Israel Synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan, outside of Detroit, and opened fire.

A law enforcement source confirmed to the Daily Wire that the shooter was armed with a

rifle and was killed by armed security in a shootout. The vehicle which the attacker drove through

the doors of the building was loaded with explosives and caught on fire according to multiple

reports. Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said one security guard was injured after he was hit

by the attacker's vehicle, but he's

expected to recover. No one else in the synagogue was injured. The synagogue, which also houses a
