0:50.2	For a young man or woman that has an aspiration to do something that they'll be proud of
0:56.1	their entire lives, whether they serve for four years or 40 years, the armed services is the
1:02.0	best place to start because not only do you challenge yourself, you learn to think of others
1:07.7	first, and then on top of that, you're going to make lifelong friends. This is the Fox News Rundown Evening Edition.
1:17.8	2025 marks the 250th birthday of the U.S. military, with the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps all established
1:24.9	in 1775. And as of March of this year, there are more than 16 million
1:30.3	U.S. military veterans. As we celebrate Veterans Day, we thank and honor those who have served
1:35.8	in wartime or peacetime. At one point in our lives, we said, you know what, we want to serve.
1:41.1	There's a lot of different reasons. But I can tell you of all the probably 10
1:45.3	top reasons, money is not one of them. Chris Lovell is a retired Marine Corps major, as well as the
1:50.7	CEO of Lovell government services. It's, you, you want to be something, you want to be a part of
1:56.1	something greater than yourself, and you, you want to be a part of a team.
2:02.5	And you want to challenge yourself to be the best version of you possible.
2:10.2	And the Marine Corps, for me, was that.
