A judge Friday agreed with the Trump administration that it can indeed remove a former Columbia University student who is not an American but has Syrian citizenship.

Mahmoud Khalil was admitted to the U.S. on a student visa, but he hasn't been at class.

He's not even enrolled anymore, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio is removing him from the U.S.

for not only violating the terms of a student visa, but for instigating a number of anti-American

and anti-Semitic demonstrations among students at Columbia

on its campus in New York City. But Khalil's case isn't unique. The past year and a half has seen

how America's elite universities of the Ivy League have become incubators for an anti-Semitism

hiding itself as a political struggle that is also anti-American.
