Friday April 23rd 2021 I'm Trey Inks. The US military has reportedly started to move

equipment out of Afghanistan following a new withdrawal deadline set for

September. There's many nervous people out there that think a civil war could return Afghanistan that

Taliban could roll into Kabul like they did in the 90s and there could be bloodshed

and all the gains that have been made by women in Afghanistan could be rolled back.

So there's a lot of trepidation, a lot of people that are nervous.

This is the Fox News rundown, Evening Edition. The U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan comes as U.S. General Kenneth Mackenzie warned this week of challenges and completely taking out American forces.

During a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, General McKinsey addressed the withdrawal.

He was more critical during his first extensive comments on the issue.

Reports indicate President Biden rejected advice from top military brass about keeping

some troops on the ground to support Afghan security forces and keep the Taliban at bay.
